I used the Scandinavian recipe and didn’t have real problems with the dough, but did have some issues getting the house to stay together. I made a “candy glass” pathway from Allen d Bragden’s Gingerbread book and used butter beans for the pathway lining since they had an interesting shape. My first gingerbread house attempt was a little frustrating, but still fun.
