What are the measurements for the kokedamas?

Each kokedama is unique and handmade: Size and shape fluctuate so all measurements are shown as a range.

Small sized kokedamas range from 3 - 4 inches in diameter of the moss ball. 

Original sized kokedamas range from 5 - 6 inches in diameter of the moss ball. 

Large sized kokedamas range from 7+ inches in diameter of the moss ball. 

When will my plants arrive? 

We ship items as soon as possible, as they become available. Lead times and estimated delivery dates are indicated for each purchase when checking out. Shipment and delivery schedules may be affected by regional and federal holidays. Given uncertainties in shipping, product availability, and circumstances outside our control  weather, etc.) we cannot guarantee exact shipping dates.

When placing an order, you should receive an email confirming your order shortly after completing your transaction. If you do not receive the email, please check your spam or junk folder before contacting TheModernForest. Tracking information will be emailed once the order's shipping information is generated. How will my kokedama arrive?

I want your plant to arrive happy and healthy. I take every precaution I can to ensure it arrives that way. Your kokedama will be carefully nestled inside for a smooth ride. Although, as things may happen during the kokedamas adventure to you please reach out to info@themodernforest.com if you are having issues with your kokedama. 

My plant arrives healthy but now not doing well. What should I do?

If your kokedama arrived healthy but is no longer doing well, reach out to info@themodernforest.com with photos. I'm happy to help figure out what’s going on. Sometimes plants need a few weeks to acclimate to their new environment: your home or office. However, if your plant continues to decline in health during its first month, we will replace it for free as part of our 30-Day Guarantee.

My plant arrives damaged. What do I do?

We guarantee your plants will arrive in happy, healthy condition. If not, we replace them for free as part of our 30-Day Guarantee. It’s natural for live plants to show minor signs of stress after transit but if the damage is beyond minor blemishes*, contact us within 30 days of receipt to receive a free replacement.

The guarantee applies to all purchases within the first 30 days. We require photos as proof of damage and to help us improve our packaging process. 

*Remember, it’s natural for live plants to show minor signs of stress after transit. You can help your plant perk up from its journey by gently pruning any foliage damaged during the shipping process, such as bent stems or yellow leaves.
